Motorola has announced the availability of Moto G 3rd Generation in India. Moto G 3rd Generation comes with IPX7 certification which can withstand immersion of upto 3 feet of water for upto 30 minutes.
The handset sports a 5-inch HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 proetection and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad – core processor clocked at 1.4GHz and Adreno 306 GPU clocked at 400MHz. The Handset runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. The handset will be featuring the Stock version of the OS i.e, no bloatware (Pre-Installed Apps). It supports external storage capacity of upto 32GB.
The handset features a 13MP primary camera with Dynamic CCT Dual LED Flash and a 5MP secondary camera. It also supports dual SIM (GSM+LTE), 4G LTE, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, GLONASS and microUSB.
The handset will be available in two models. The first model comes with features 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage while the other model features 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
The Handset will be available in Black and White colour variants. The company has promised that existing Motorola users can exchange their old phones for Moto G 3rd Generation and receive a hefty discount. The first Sale of Moto G will be held at today midnight exclusively on Flipkart. The company will be selling the 8GB variant of the handset.
