Samsung announces Galaxy J2 in India, priced at Rs. 8,490

Samsung launches its most affordable 4G handset, Galaxy J2 in India. The most notable feature of the handset is the introduction of “Ultra Data Saving Mode” which reduces data consumption by upto 50 percent through image and video compression.

The Samsung Galaxy J2 sports a 4.5-inch qHD Super AMOLED display. It is powered by an Exynos 3475 quad-core CPU clocked at 1.3GHz, along with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 128GB using a microSD card. The handset features a 5MP primary camera with LED flash, and a 2MP front-facing camera. The device supports 4G LTE, WiFi, microUSB abd dual SIM support. The device also packs a 2000mAh battery.
