OnePlus X launched in India, price starts at Rs. 16,999

OnePlus has launched OnePlus X in India. The smartphone sports a 5inch FullHD AMOLED display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad – core processor clocked at 2.3GHz and Adreno 330 GPU. It also includes 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 16GB of internal storage expandable upto 128GB via microSD card.

The OnePlus X includes a 13MP rear camera with flash and a 8MP front facing camera. The handset runs on OxygenOS which is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. The device packs a non-removable 2525mAh battery.

Other features include hybrid dual SIM slots – which fits in two nano SIM cards or the second slot can be used for microSD cards, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.

The device will be available in two color variants : Onyx and Ceramic.

The device will go on sale exclusively on the website of Amazon India, starting November 5 through invite system. The same will continue for the month. Starting December 2015, the handset can be purchased through hourly open sale which will be held on a weekly basis.
