Motorola has launched Moto G Turbo Edition in India. This comes in just after 5 months from the launch of Moto G (3rd Generation), which was launched in July this year. Both the smartphones share similar specifications and costs Rs. 1,500 more than that of Moto G (3rd Generation), 16GB variant. The Moto G Turbo Edition is IP67 certified i.e, it is water and resistant whereas Moto G (3rd Generation) was only IPX7 certified i.e, only water resistant.
The Motorola Moto G Turbo Edition sports 5inch TFT LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-processor clocked at 1.5GHz with Adreno 405 GPU. The device includes 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can expanded by another 32GB with the help of a microSD card.
The Moto G Turbo Edition features a 13MP primary camera with Dual LED flash and a 5MP front facing camera. The device will be running on (Stock) Android Lollipop v5.1.1 operating system out of the box. The device includes a 2,470mAh battery with TurboCharging facility which allows gives you 6 hours of usage within 15 minutes.
Other features include WiFi, dual SIM, 4G LTE, Bluetooth v4.0 LE and A-GPS. The device is priced at Rs. 14,499 and is available only on Flipkart. The device is available in two color variants – black and white.
