Idea launches 4G services Andhra, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Telangana

India’s third largest mobile operator, Idea Cellular, has launched 4G services for mobile devices across 5 states in South India – Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Telangana. The operator is providing its 4G services only in 75 cities in South India and aims to cover all the cities and towns of these states by March 2016.

Idea users in those 75 cities can start enjoying 4G services by simply upgrading their existing SIM cards to new 4G SIM card. The company said it will be offering plans on a par with 3G and trial packs for just Rs. 29.
