Asus launches ZenFone Max With 5000mAh Battery, priced at Rs. 9,999

Asus India has finally launched its much – awaited, the ZenFone Max. The handset Priced at Rs. 9,999 and is now up for pre-ordering via Flipkart and Amazon
, starting today. As per the website, tentative release date is January 14, 2016.

The Asus ZenFone Max boasts a 5,000mAh lithium-polymer battery. It can deliver a standby time of 38.1 days and up to 37.6 hours of talktime. Notably, the smartphone can even be used to charge other compatible devices using a USB on-the-go (OTG) cable.

The Asus ZenFone Max sports a 5.5inch HD IPS display and with 178-degree viewing angles. The screen includes Corning Gorilla Glass 4 Protection. It is powered by a quad – core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and Adreno 306 GPU, clocked at 1GHz and 450MHz respectively. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage with an expandable storage capacity of 64GB (using a microSD card).The handset runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Asus ZenUI 2.0 on top.

The handset features a 13MP primary camera with dual color LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera. Both the cameras are equipped with Laser Auto Focus. The device includes support for 4G LTE, Dual SIM (LTE+LTE), Bluetooth v4 (A2DP), A-GPS, GLONASS and WiFi. It also includes Accelerometer, eCompass, Proximity Sensor, Hall Sensor and Ambient Light Sensor.

The device is available in two color variants – black and white.
