LG India officially launched its latest flagship smartphone – LG V20 in India. The device will available across all retail outlets and online exclusively via Amazon India starting December 6, 2016. The LG V20 runs on Android v7.0 Out of the box.
LG has announced an exchange offer where customers can exchange their old smartphone for a ‘minimum assured ₹ 20,000 off’ against select smartphones. The company will also be bundling a free B&O Premium headset worth ₹ 18,000 and a free SF coated cover.
The LG V20 boats an aircraft grade aluminium body with Si-PC material in each corner for an added layer of protection, that makes it light and sturdy. The smartphone is said to be complaint with the US Military Standard Drop Test (MIL STD-810G) which means that the smartphone can easily withstand a drop from a height of 1.5 metres ( 4.92 feet).
The LG V20 sports a 5.7inch QHD IPS Quantum display with Second Screen feature. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor (2.15GHz dual core + 1.6GHz dual core) with Adreno 530 GPU. It also includes 4GB RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable via microSD card up to 2TB.
The LG V20 features a 16MP primary camera with a secondary 8MP secondary rear camera with a 135 wide-angle degree lens. This will allow the users to click large – group shots and landscapes. On the front, it is equipped with a 5MP selfie camera with 120-degree wide-angle lens which will allow the users take larger group shots. The cameras are also equipped with Hybrid Auto Focus system that combines LDAF (Laser Detection Auto Focus), PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) and Contrast Auto Focus technologies. It also boasts Steady Record 2.0 feature that minimises ‘shaking effect’.
The LG V20 is equipped with a 32-bit Quad DAC technology to deliver high-resolution sound. It also includes 3 High AOP (Acoustic Overload Point) Mics that allow its users to record sounds by eliminating background noise and saves them in lossless audio format. One can also capture studio-quality sound with it.
The device packs a 3,200mAh battery and includes dual SIM (nano 4G + nano 4G), 4G LTE with VoLTE facility, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, Infrared, and USB OTG. It also includes a fingerprint sensor, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, accelerometer, magnetometer and gyroscope.
