Xiaomi India on Thursday finally announces the Redmi Note 4. The smartphone is also a part of ‘Make In India’ programme and the device made its Global Debut in India. The device will be exclusively available on Flipkart starting January 23, 2017. No prior registrations are required for the sale.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 sports a full metal unibody design and a 5.5inch Full HD with 2.5D curved glass IPS display. The device is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor clocked at 2GHz and Adreno 506 GPU, which will use the power efficient 14nm FinFET technology. the device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based MIUI 8 and upgradable to Android N.
The Redmi Note 4 features a 13-megapixel primary camera equipped with PDAF and dual toned LED flash. On the front, it has got a 5-megapixel selfie camera. Other features include hybrid dual-SIM card configuration, supporting microSD cards (up 128GB). 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi , GPS, and a fingerprint scanner at the back. It also include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, electronic compass, and proximity sensor. The device packs a 4,100mAh battery and is 25% more power efficient than Redmi 3.
Xiaomi has laucned three variants of Redmi Note 4 in India – the 2GB RAM/ 32GB inbuilt storage model has been priced at ₹ 9,999, the 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage model has been priced at ₹ 10,999, while the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage model has been priced at ₹ 12,999. All the varaints will go on sale from January 23, 12 PM on Mi.com and Flipkart.
The Redmi Note will be available in 4 colour variants – Gold, Grey, Silver and Matte Black.
