Lenovo launches Moto G5 in India, priced at ₹ 11,999

Lenovo-owned Motorola launches Moto G5 in India for ₹ 11,999 and will be available exclusively via Amazon. The Moto G and Moto G5 Plus were launched at Mobile World Congress, 2017.  The company has already launched the Moto G5 Plus starting at ₹ 14,999 on Flipkart.


The Moto G5 boasts a metal unibody with splash proof design. The handset sports a 5inch Full HD IPS LCD display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz with Adreno 505 GPU and 3GB RAM with 16GB of internal memory with a microSD slot that supports upto 128GB. The handset features a 13MP primary camera with PDAF feature and dual LED flash, and a 5MP front camera. The device packs a 2,800mAh battery with support for fast charging.

The Moto G5 sports a fingerprint scanner on the Home button and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out the box. Other features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v4.2 and Micro-USB. It also include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, and a proximity sensor.
