Amazon India Launches Fire TV Stick with Voice Remote for ₹ 3,999

Amazon India today launched Fire TV Stick in India with Voice Remote. The Fire TV Stick plugs into the HDMI port of your HDTV and requires an Active Internet Connection via WiFi. This is the only streaming device that comes with a voice remote.

The Amazon Fire TV Stick is powered by a MediaTek Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz with Mali450 MP4 GPU. It packs 1GB of memory with 8GB of internal storage. Other features includes Bluetooth 4.1 and dual WiFi.

Amazon Prime members get unlimited access to Amazon Prime Video, featuring thousands of Bollywood and regional blockbusters, Hollywood movies, US TV shows at no additional cost. It also includes support for Hotstar, Netflix, YouTube, Eros Now, Gaana , apps and games.

“Amazon also announced the release of three new titles on Prime Video, exclusively for Prime members and available on Fire TV Stick – Baahubali: The Lost Legends – based on one of 2016’s highest grossing movies, Oscar winner Suicide Squad, and a stand-up comedy special by Kenny Sebastian.”, the company said in a statement.

The device will be available exclusively via Amazon India for ₹ 3,999. Amazon has also announced a few introductory offers:
