Xiaomi launches Redmi 4 and Mi Router 3C in India

Xiaomi launches the Redmi 4 smartphone and the Mi Router 3C in India. Recently, the company has announced Redmi 4A for ₹ 5,999. The Redmi 4 is a ‘Make In India‘ smartphone.

The Xiaomi Redmi 4 has been launched in three variants – the 2GB RAM+16GB ROM, 3GB RAM+32GB ROM and 4GB RAM+64GB ROM will be available at ₹ 6,999, ₹ 8,999 and ₹ 10,999 respectively. The device will be available in Matte Black and Elegant Gold colour variants. The Xiaomi Redmi 4 will be available on Amazon India and Mi.com starting May 23, 12PM. The Xiaomi Redmi 4 boats a full metal unibody design and a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel. The handset sports a 5inch HD screen with 2.5D curved glass. The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz. with Adreno 505 GPU. It also contains 2GB/3GB/4GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB/64GB of internal memory with an expandable memory slot that supports upto 128GB. The handset runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with MIUI 8.

The Xiaomi Redmi 4 sports a 13MP primary camera with LED flash and a 5MP selfie camera on the front. The handset packs a 4,100mAh battery. Other features include 4G VoLTE, WiFi, GPS, microUSB with OTG and Bluetooth v4.1.

Mi Router 3C

The company has also launched the Mi Router 3C today for ₹ 1,199. The product will be available on Flipkart, Amazon India and Mi.com starting May 23, 12PM.

It is a smart router which comes with 64MB RAM can be controlled via Xiaomi’s Mi WiFi app. It has a Wi-Fi  range of 80 metres and supports speeds of upto 300Mbps. The device contains 4 antennas and can connect upto 64 devices. The device supports only 2.4GHz band.
