Asus India today launched the Asus Zenfone Live. The device is priced at ₹ 9,999 and will go on sale via Flipkart, Amazon and offline channels starting today. The most notable part of the handset is that it is loaded with BeautyLive app, that lets users remove blemishes and the like when live streaming to social media sites. The company claims that it is the ‘world’s first live streaming beautification technology’.
The Asus Zenfone Live sports a 5-inch HD IPS display and 2.5D curved glass. The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8928 quad – core processor clocked at 1.4GHz and Adreno 305 GPU with 2GB RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded by another 128GB via microSD card. The handset runs on ZenUI 3.5 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Asus ZenFone Live features a 13-megapixel Pixel Master rear camera with and soft-light LED flash. On the front, it bears a 5-megapixel camera with a 1.4um pixel sensor and soft-light LED flash. Other features include dual SIM (Hybrid), 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi. Bluetooth v4.0, FM radio, and GPS/ A-GPS.
The handset boasts a pair of MEMS microphones which automatically detects and eliminates background noise to provide a clearer voice quality. It also includes a five-magnet speaker system with Smart Amplifier technology that increases audio resolution. It also includes DTS Headphone:X technology, an advanced surround-sound technology that delivers a full 7.1-channel virtual surround-sound experience. The device packs a 2,650mAh battery with support for Turbo Charging. The handset will be available in Navy Black, Rose Pink and Shimmer Gold colour variants.
