Samsung India today launched two new smartphones, Samsung Galaxy J7 Max and Galaxy J7 Pro with Samsung Pay and Social Camera. The Galaxy J7 Max and Galaxy J7 Pro are priced at ₹ 17,900 and ₹ 20,900, respectively in Black and Gold colors. Galaxy J7 Max will be available across retail stores starting June 20, 2017 while Galaxy J7 Pro will hit the stores mid-July onwards.
Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro
The Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro sport a 5.5inch HD Super AMOLED screen and is powered by a 1.6GHz Octa-core Exynos processor with 3GB of RAM and a 3,600mAH battery. It also contains 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card. Other features include 4G LTE, WiFi, and Bluetooth.
Samsung Galaxy J7 Max
The Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro sport a 5.7inch HD Super AMOLED screen and is powered by a 1.6Ghz Octa-core MediaTek processor with 4GB of RAM and a 3,300mAH battery. It also contains 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card. Other features include 4G LTE, WiFi, and Bluetooth.
Both the smartphones boast a metal unibody design and sport a 13MP front camera with an f1.9 lens and back camera with an f1.7 lens, and flash. Both the smartphones run on Android 7.0 Nougat.
Social Camera feature allows users to pin their favorite contacts and social media within the camera and share their moments as they click. The instant-editing option lets one create engaging social media-ready content on-the-go by applying live filters or live stickers and share it instantly with social media apps. The instant discovery feature adds a whole new dimension through the augmented reality camera that allows users to discover their surroundings for popular photography spots, restaurants and shopping areas.
Samsung Pay Mini
Samsung has also introduced Samsung Pay Mini, a lighter version of Samsung Pay. It is designed to cater to the unique requirements of Indian mid-segment consumers, provides a comprehensive platform for UPI and e-wallets. The feature will be made available on select existing J series devices shortly.
