Reliance Jio tops again in TRAI Speed Test Chart in June 2017

Reliance Jio has once again topped the charts with an average download speed of 18.809 Mbps for the month of June 2017, as per TRAI‘s latest report. The speed test was conducted by millions of users on the TRAI My Speed App.

As per the data released by the regulator, Vodafone, Idea Cellular and Airtel registered average data speeds of 12.297 Mbps, 11.865 Mbps and 8.233 Mbps respectively. All the four operators have registered a decline in 4G speeds.  However, this is not Jio’s highest speed as the operator registered 19.12 Mbps in May 2017. The most interesting part of the report was Airtel has clocked the lowest download speeds for this month. The same operator was named as “India’s Fastest Mobile Network” based on data from Q3 and Q4 of 2016 by Ookla.

In terms of upload speeds, Idea Cellular clocked the highest speed at 7.522 Mbps, followed by Vodafone and Reliance Jio at 6.949 Mbps and 5.010 Mbps. While Bharti Airtel clocked the lowest average upload speed of 4.013 Mbps.
