Honor 9 Lite with Quad Cameras and 18:9 FullView FHD+ display launched

Huawei today launched its second quad-camera smartphone, Honor 9 Lite. The smartphone is priced at ₹ 10,999 for the 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant. While, the 4GB RAM/ 64GB variant is priced at ₹ 14,999. The Honor 9 Lite will go on sale on January 21, exclusively via Flipkart. The device will be available in Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue color variants.


The Honor 9 Lite boasts a double-sided 2.5D glass with 5.65 inch Fullview FHD+ IPS  display. The handset is powered by a Kirin 659 octa-core processor clocked at 2.36GHz processor. The external storage capacity of the handset can be topped up to 256GB via microSD card. The handset runs on EMUI 8.0 (based on Android 8.0 Oreo), equipped with the latest AI technology including F2FS (Flash-friendly File System).

The front and the rear camera setup packs a 13 MP + 2 MP dual-lens rear camera system. The rear camera setup is also equipped with PDAF and flash. Other features include dual SIM (Hybrid) configuration, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi, 4G VoLTE, GPS and microUSB with OTG support. Sensors on the phone include – Fingerprint Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Ambient Light Sensor, Compass, Gravity Sensor and Phone Status Indicator. The handset is backed by a 3,000mAh battery.
